'Ween Dream

'Ween Dream is a Jefferson, Louisiana 501(c)(3) that operates a year-round national costume collection and distribution program from its New Orleans-area headquarters at 3001 River Road. Volunteers inspect, sort, label, and catalog donated Halloween costumes to build a searchable inventory available to families across the country. Families in need submit a written application listing their child's two character choices and are then matched to costumes from inventory and shipped at no cost. The program accepts mail-in donations from anywhere in the United States, making it one of the largest national Halloween costume redistributors. Donors can ship directly to the organization, host a community drive in their own city, or contribute monetarily through the website to cover shipping and supplies.
