Costume Connections is an Austin, Texas 501(c)(3) all-volunteer organization founded by three local moms who saw Central Texas families struggling to afford Halloween costumes for their kids. The program hosts weekly popup costume shops every October across the Austin metro, where families can browse and pick out free costumes for their children. Inventory is built throughout the year from community donations and partner organizations, then organized and prepared for the October events. Volunteers staff each popup, helping kids find costumes that fit and feel right rather than receiving pre-assigned outfits. The organization does not publish a permanent street address — donation drop-off logistics and giveaway event locations are coordinated through costumeconnections.org.
