What does The Enchanted Closet accept?
The Enchanted Closet accepts formalwear costumes.
The Enchanted Closet is a Stonecrest, Georgia 501(c)(3), founded in 2003, that provides free prom dresses, shoes, and jewelry to financially challenged teen girls across 14 metro-Atlanta counties. Its annual Prom Dress Giveaway is held each March, and the organization says it has outfitted more than 9,500 Atlanta-area girls. Donated gowns and accessories are accepted year-round, with collection events ramping up ahead of the spring giveaway. Teens shop with volunteer help for a complete outfit at no cost.
