What does Project G.L.A.M. accept?
Project G.L.A.M. accepts formalwear costumes.
Project G.L.A.M. (Granting Lasting Amazing Memories) is run by WGIRLS Inc., a women's-philanthropy 501(c)(3), and gives free prom dresses, suits and ties, makeup, and accessories to economically disadvantaged teens. The flagship New York City Dress and Tie giveaway is among the largest in the country, with a recent event held in the Bronx, and WGIRLS chapters run local versions in other cities. The program collects donated formalwear and accessories ahead of prom season each spring. Teens shop the giveaway and leave with a complete look at no cost. Visit wgirls.org/page/project-glam for chapter locations, donation details, and event dates.
