Cinderella's Closet of Northern Kentucky accepts formalwear costumes.
Cinderella's Closet of Northern Kentucky is an Erlanger, Kentucky 501(c)(3) and the founding chapter of the national Cinderella's Closet network, started in 2006 as a ministry of Immanuel United Methodist Church. The program collects donated prom and formal dresses, shoes, and accessories and gives them free to high-school teens who could not otherwise afford them. Each student is paired with a volunteer fairy godmother who helps her shop and assemble a complete outfit. Donations are accepted by drop-off ahead of the spring prom season, and the organization maintains a directory of affiliated chapters in other states. Visit cinderellasclosetnky.org for current drop-off sites, boutique dates, and the student sign-up process.
