What does Donate2Dance accept?
Donate2Dance accepts dance costumes.
Donate2Dance is a New York City 501(c)(3) founded in 2018, the only national organization specifically focused on redistributing dance costumes, shoes, and dancewear to underserved dance programs across the country. Donors mail in gently worn ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, hip-hop, and dance-team costumes, leotards, tights, and shoes, which the organization sorts and routes to partner programs serving inner-city and low-income communities. Since founding, Donate2Dance has partnered with more than 250 dance programs and supported over 60,000 dancers worldwide. The headquarters at 48 West 68th Street in Manhattan handles intake and distribution coordination; donors can ship year-round rather than during a seasonal window. The organization also runs awareness campaigns to recruit additional partner studios and donors. Contact (212) 787-1584 or donate2dance.org for the current shipping address and intake form.
